When Liz called to say good bye and that she was leaving earlier than we expected to go to the Dominican Republic, it was a quick emotional phone call. Hard to say good-bye. I didn't get the last MTC package mailed I had ready to go.

Justin will finish Interrogation School April 1st and go to Germany for two weeks
April 22, then go the Mosul, Iraq June 24th. Justin is top of his class and has had several special recognitions in the past year. We love you Justin, and we are all so proud of you!!!

Cardinals in Ohio

There is just something lovely about the bright red bird that livens up a cold winter landscape...

Liz received her mission call to Dominican Republic: Santo Domingo East Mission, Spanish Speaking on Thursday, Feb 11, 2010- she could not speak, so while Dad laughed, Justin read it aloud upside down, to Clayton, Tyler and the rest of us, and Mom took a video, Becca listened on her cell phone on the way to California! WE are so HAPPY! She will leave April 21, 2010

Better late than never, right?
Our trip to Ohio in January to visit our brand new grandson, Ian Casbeer, who was perfectly beautiful! It was a fun way to celebrate my 50th Birthday too! It snowed every day we were there and Ian had RSV so we stayed in alot and visited alot which was wonderful!
Grama held Ian as much as Grampa would let her. We read stories and played in the snow, and Rachelles neighbor Grama Grace hosted a sledding party for the neighborhood. I was able to see my beloved red cardinals that I miss so much. Grampa had fun playing with Isaac and holding baby Ian. Rachelle and I just enjoyed the visit.
